	Non-coaxial (=plumose) core filaments occur in monomerous thalli and are characterized by basal core filaments which are NOT arranged in tears.

	In opposite to the Recent example, the original cell walls of the fossil SEM-sample are leached and cell lumina are filled by sparry calcite.
